Vincentian students who will have completed secondary school at Form 5 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and wish to further their studies at the Sixth Form level in King William’s College can apply for the ISEP scholarship. The Sixth Form level is equivalent to the Caribbean Secondary Education Assessment (CAPE) or Associate Degree level. At KWC, they will study to achieve the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Subject to successful fund-raising, the ISEP trustees hope to be able to award a new scholarship for two years from September 2027.  It is anticipated that confirmation of a scholarship will be provided by May 2027, following review and scoring of all applications, combined with interviews of short-listed candidates.

Successful scholarship recipients will study at King William’s College (KWC), Castletown in the Isle of Man for two years. The student will live on the school’s campus in one of its boarding houses and spend half-term and most other school holidays with an Isle of Man host family.  The scholarship includes trips home to SVG for the Christmas and Easter holidays.

Successful students will have attained top marks against the scoring criteria and will have performed well in an interview. The scholarship will be based on academic merit, exemplary conduct and aptitude for success, with economic need also being taken into consideration.

The successful scholarship recipient will pursue studies for two years (in lower and upper sixth form) leading to the International Baccalaureate diploma exams.

In the British education system the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is taught in sixth from (year 12-13) as an alternative to A Levels.  It is an international curriculum known for its breath, where students are normally required to learn more than one language and study across disciplines including Mathematics, Sciences and Humanities subjects.
