DONATE

Donations to ISEP play a vital role in making dreams possible. Generous contributions have funded the Scholarship Programme, supporting the deserving students who are studying for the International Baccalaureate at King William’s College in the Isle of Man. It is through your generosity that we can cover the many aspects involved in this life-changing experience – travel expenses, tuition, board and meals, educational resources like books, and essential clothing suited to the climate of the Isle of Man.

ISEP is especially grateful to the Ken Dodd Charitable Foundation for their generous grants to ISEP and which has provided core funding for the scholarships and for the 2022 study tour.

Loganair is also providing free flights from the UK to the Isle of Man for our students and we are extremely grateful to Loganair for their generous continuing support. ISEP is indebted to Virgin Atlantic who partnered with us to provide return flights from the Caribbean to the UK during our first scholarship student’s initial year.

How does ISEP use donations?

Administrative Expenses:

Administrative costs include office supplies and professional and other services like catering that have to be contracted. Board members and advisors are all unpaid volunteers.

Airfares and Other Travel Expenses

Tickets for flights for the 2023-2025 scholar's first year of travel between St Vincent and London were kindly donated by Virgin Atlantic. Currently all transatlantic flight tickets are paid for by ISEP. For both the 2023/25 and 2024/26 scholars, tickets for flights between London and the Isle of Man have been generously provided by Loganair.

Student Boarding

Scholars board at King William’s College in the Isle of Man for two years. This includes accommodation and meals throughout term time. During holiday breaks, students stay with host families in the Isle of Man.

Tuition

Tuition is included in the boarding fee, which benefits from bursary support provided by King William's. ISEP has funded one scholarship for 2023-25 and a second for 2024-26. Each scholarship is for the two years of the Sixth Form, culminating in the International Baccalaureate diploma.

Living expenses/Pocket money

Most living expenses are included in the boarding scholarship. However, ISEP provides weekly pocket money to the scholarship student to cover personal expenses, entertainment, etc. An additional provision is made by ISEP to cover the cost of clothing ('office wear') required by the school. ISEP arranges the opening of an account with Lloyds Bank, including an ATM card at no cost to the student

Text books and other educational resources

ISEP provides funding for required textbooks, online material and other classroom resources. This includes exam fees.

Personal Effects

The scholarship recipient will be required to take care of personal effects purchased with the provided pocket money allowance.
